I've been waiting an entire year in secrecy for last night's date with Kyle. The Sundance Outdoor Theatre is where we went for our first date. We tried to relive it a couple years after we were married, only to find out they had discontinued it. We were so bummed.
But last year around this time I found out from a friend that they started doing plays again. I was so excited! I found out a little to late for that season (like the day after closing night - how ironic). So, I decided to keep it a secret and take Kyle on a surprise date the next year.
When I found out the dates for this season, I was again sad to find out it didn't open until 2 weeks after our first date anniversary. But it was close enough. Kyle was surprised and we had a glorious evening sitting in the same spot as our first date 7 years ago. Fun stuff.
I love outdoor theatre.
