the 24-70 lens

This weekend I rented a lens that I have been thinking of buying for almost two years.  I'm glad that I rented it - though it was fun, I am still not fully convinced that it is worth the huge chunk of my photography budget - I'm going to need some more time.  But here are some random pictures I took with it. 

 I love the way this shot above caught her sticking out her cute bottom lip :) 

Here is the first picture I took of her walking -she's official!

 

 

I did enjoy the fact that having the lens for the weekend forced me to take a few more pictures of my kids that I probably wouldn't have gotten otherwise.  They are darn-cute kids : )
