With it being the first Sunday of the year, Kekoa moved into a new Primary class (Ikaika is still avoiding nursery like the plague. . . ). It was so cute when after church he came running up to me to show me his new CTR ring. He was so excited to have a ring in the shape of a saver (aka - a shield). He tried his best to hold on to it, but he dropped it a couple times in the van on our way home. I rescued it the first time without too much trouble, but the second loss really brought on the tears. Kekoa saw it fall down the side of the seat. In great despair he cried, "I lost my CTR ring. Now I will never know how to choose the right." I thought such drama was reserved only for teenage girls. But that is my Kekoa. Luckily, Super Mommy was there to find it, save the day, and bring peace yet again to her troubled child. Memories of our first Sunday of '09. (smile)
PS. Just for the record I am loving our new 9am church schedule. I do not even mind one bit that I'll have a 7:30 meeting once a month (oh, anyone up for babysitting at that hour? ha ha).

Oh yes, Kono wears a socket cover for a ring and calls it his green lantern ring from Justice League, it's so funny.
